ATHLETES
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY PARTICIPATION? The competitor tickets are non-refundable. If you have a competitor spot but cannot participate, please contact info@turkutuomiopaiva.com.
DO I HAVE INSURANCE FROM THE EVENT ORGANIZER? Competitors are not insured by the event organizer. Competition Corner offers an option to purchase insurance (FanShield Ticket Protection) when you accept your competitor spot. For insurance-related inquiries, please contact Competition Corner or FanShield directly.
COMPETITOR TICKET INCLUDES Each competitor ticket includes one coach ticket. You can bring one coach with you who, unlike regular spectators, has access to the athlete area. The competitor ticket also includes lunch on Friday and Saturday. Additionally, the event area offers a variety of food stalls to suit every taste. The competitor ticket price in the Elite division is €249 + platform fee and in the RX division €199 + platform fee.
WHERE SHOULD I STAY? Our official accommodation partner is Hotel Kakola, located about 2 km from the event venue. Hotel Kakola offers a 15% discount on accommodations when you use the code "tuomiopaiva" while booking. Rooms are available in limited quantities.
WHEN WILL THE EVENTS BE ANNOUNCED? The events will be announced during the event week.
I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THE MOVEMENT STANDARDS Please send your question to judges@turkutuomiopaiva.com. Make sure you've also read the Rulebook thoroughly (can be found in the Main Event page).
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES? The top three in the Elite division will receive cash prizes: the winner gets €4000, the second place €2000, and the third place €1000. The winners of both divisions will also receive Tuomiopäivä’s impressive and unique championship ring. This year, there's also a surprise prize from a Tampere-based fashion designer👀 Additionally, some of our partners will contribute to the prizes in the form of products or gift cards.
GENERAL
CAN CHILDREN ENTER THE EVENT FOR FREE? Children under 12 years can enter the event for free when accompanied by an adult. Strollers are welcome.
CAN I BRING MY PET TO THE EVENT? Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Yläkenttä.
IS THERE PARKING NEAR THE VENUE? There is a small parking area on Samppalinnankatu and some street parking on surrounding roads. We recommend arriving by public transportation, bike, or on foot.
IS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE? Yläkenttä is an artificial turf field located atop a steep hill, accessible via gravel paths. There are no stairs. Yläkenttä does not have accessible restrooms. The nearest accessible restrooms are at Paavo Nurmi Stadium, about 500 meters away. There are limited accessible seating spots on the short side of the field near the entrance. Spectators requiring assistance must purchase an event ticket, but their assistants can enter for free with the assisted person.
WHAT IS THE VENUE LIKE? The event venue, Turun Urheilupuiston Yläkenttä, is a large artificial turf field located atop a steep hill, accessible via gravel paths. Yläkenttä features one large covered grandstand and several smaller uncovered spectator areas. Shaded areas can be found near the main grandstand, the beverage area, and some of the partner booths.

WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR THE AFTERPARTY? Tickets for the official afterparty (Saturday, 31st August) at Heidi’s Bier Bar can be purchased in advance from the Tuomiopäivä ticket store. Tap the “TICKETS” button on the right side of the page to access the ticket store. Friday's afterparty has free entry with a Tuomiopäivä ticket or wristband.
CAN I PHOTOGRAPH OR FILM AT THE EVENT? Photography with a professional camera is prohibited without permission. Please read the information about photography on the Media page and contact us if you are interested in taking photos at the event or have any questions.
CAN I GIVE MY SPECTATOR TICKET TO A FRIEND? The ticket will be exchanged for a wristband upon your first arrival at the festival area. Wristbands cannot be transferred. However, a ticket that has not yet been scanned or exchanged for a wristband can be given to a friend. Note: Even if you have a two-day ticket or a combo ticket, the ticket can only be scanned once. Therefore, you cannot transfer one of the days or the afterparty ticket to a friend if your ticket has already been scanned and exchanged for a wristband.
WHERE CAN I WATCH THE LIVESTREAM? The livestream can be watched on ISTV and Ruutu. The link to the livestream will be published during the event week.
CAN I BRING A WATER BOTTLE TO THE EVENT? Empty water bottles are allowed, but the following items are prohibited and will be checked at the security screening at the entrance: - Glass bottles and cans - Alcohol, substances, and drugs - Firearms, knives, and large hard objects - Aerosol cans (e.g., hairspray) - Umbrellas - Camping chairs - Selfie sticks - Walkie-talkies - Pets - Professional photography or video equipment without prior authorization

ACCESSIBILITY
Yläkenttä is an artificial turf field located atop a steep hill, accessible via gravel paths. There are no stairs. There will be one portable toilet with unimpeded access on-site. The nearest accessible indoor restrooms are at Paavo Nurmi Stadium, about 500 meters away. There are limited accessible seating spots on the short side of the field near the entrance.
Spectators requiring assistance must purchase an event ticket, but their assistants can enter for free with the assisted person.

We will do our best to maintain general hygiene and health safety during the event.
The event will be livestreamed. You can follow the stream via ISTV or Ruutu. The link to the livestream will be published during the event week.

GETTING THERE
Urheilupuiston Yläkenttä (address: Neitsytpolku) is easily accessible when coming from the banks of the river, behind the Turku City Theater along Neitsytpolku. There is a small parking lot on Samppalinnankatu and in addition there are parking spaces on the sides of the streets nearby. We recommend arriving by public transportation, by bike or by foot.

BUYING THE TICKETS
You can buy spectator tickets from this website or from Liveto.fi. There will not be ticket sales at the event so tickets must be purchased in advance online!
FOOD AND DRINK
The venue has several food stalls providing various flavors and a licensed area for serving alcoholic beverages.
ALCOHOL AND SMOKING AREAS
There is a licensed area for drinking at Yläkenttä with an age limit of 18 years. Bringing your own alcoholic beverages to the area and smoking in the area are prohibited. The smoking area is located outside of the gates.
